Play the Story Quests
When you first start playing Final Fantasy XIV, there are many things you can do. Having said that, when you first venture into the world of Eorzea, you will want to stick to the main story exploration.
Secondary tasks can bring you more experience. However, the main story of simply playing the game is an easy way to get around level 30. Through level 15, you will also receive new class tasks every five levels. Make sure to complete these tasks step by step in the game to get some solid experience early.
If you want to use other methods to improve your experience near the level 15 benchmark, complete the “Challenge Challenge” supplementary task. This will unlock the challenge log and give you another way out for quick upgrades early in the game.
Don’t Forget to Eat and Sleep
It’s simple, but it works. If you want to keep growing experience, you need to eat and sleep regularly.
Each time you eat, you will get a 3% experience boost over a 30-minute interval. This percentage seems small, but it will increase if you continue to be full. Other than that, you should always log out of “Final Fantasy XIV” from the shelter.
You can do this by logging out in a large city or near the blue teleport crystal. After entering the shelter, you will see a moon icon on the HUD.
Spending time in a shelter can greatly increase experience. Your experience gain will increase by 50%. Moreover, this is not the end of the benefits of resting or logging out at the shelter.
Spending time in the shelter can also give you a level 1.5 gold bar, although this process takes four days to complete.
Prioritize the Duty Roulette
Participating in roulette is the best way to improve your level after completing the main story mission. Your goal is to start a roulette check. These will put you in a party dungeon or party trial. You need to complete the Sastasha and Tam-Tara Deepcroft dungeons to unlock them.
The roulette queue can be quite daunting for DPS characters, so while waiting for the game, you will want to try to complete auxiliary tasks and other small tasks. After unlocking two or more trials, you can also start roulette. They provide considerable experience, although not as much as flattened roulette.
If you focus on the main story missions and challenge records in the early stages of the game, you will quickly reach level 30. After that, please start using levels and try roulette. But don’t forget to give yourself enough food and rest so you can get the most out of every task.
